Pilates is a body conditioning method that works in a different way to other fitness techniques. In Pilates we target the deep postural muscles and build strength from the inside out. Pilates is not like doing a bunch of crunches; there is a strong emphasis on technique, it is demanding, but not the kind of workout that works up a sweat. It’s all about concentration and breathing, which re-balances your body and brings it back into correct alignment.
