Pilates involves precise moves and specific breathing techniques, which may sound simple, but they take a lot of concentration and control. It's not like doing a bunch of crunches; there's a strong emphasis on technique. It's demanding, but it's not the kind of workout that works up a sweat. It’s all about concentration and breathing. You will feel it in your muscles during each exercise. The focus in Pilates is on the core muscles usually referred to as the ‘POWERHOUSE’ of the body, however you will also see strength gains in other parts of your body!
We have a hands-on approach, we focus on the technique of each movement and allowing you to really understand how to move correctly. In order for you to make the greatest gains in your strength and flexibility our Pilates class numbers are kept small, so that you receive individual attention.
