Speyside Swimming Academy is an accredited STA Swim Star Swim School, based in Aviemore, Scotland. This incredible recognition only enhances our passion and commitment to delivering high quality teaching and coaching.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to learning to swim or refining your technique. We work with swimmers of all ages in a holistic swimmer led approach with the belief that learning to swim is done by our swimmers and not to them.
We are all about inspiring you or your child to take on the next swimming challenge whether that would be to perform a star float or swim the channel!
Speyside Swimmers
Coached Swimming Sessions for 18yrs +
You should be able to swim approximately 200m or 8 lengths of a swimming pool consecutively both on your front and back with a reasonable and recognisable swimming stroke. You must also be able to cover at least 1000m over an hours session!

Speyside Learn to Swim
Adult and Children's Swimming Lessons for 4yrs +
Our learn to swim swim programme is designed to refine your skills and inspire confidence in swimming on your front and back.
We empower our swimmers to confidently swim independently. Embedding the fundamentals of swimming and building a strong base in all four of the swimming strokes from front crawl to breaststroke to back crawl and butterfly.
Our lessons have a strong focus on teaching lifesaving skills from a young age, we help children and adults learn the skills they need to help keep them safe in and around water.

Our children's programme follows the STA International Learn to Swim scheme of work.
